Ryan's first ono!

Had a fun labor day weekend with some friends.  Surf was ok but bit too crowded for me so I got my waves and headed in early.  My friend Ryan Kagami needed a crew so I joined him for a afternoon session.  It would be his last time fishing for a while as he and his wife Jaime are expecting a baby in a few weeks. We found a huge rubbish bigger than a FAD and started hooking up to some mahis and ono.

This was Ryan's first ono ever after losing 7 in the past.  He was stoked to finally get his monkey of his back.  Glad to be able to share the joy of fishing with friends.  Congrats Ryan!
