Happy Halloween

Did some filming this morning with Merlinda and Puna before the big rain.
Then we went climbing up the crane.
Nice view from the top. Was sweating up there grabbing on to the railings so went for a surf with nobody out, score!
Then got ready for Halloween. Guess what I supposed to be? Fishing lure hit by an Ono. Not much skirt left.

Umu Sunday

Sunday is umu day or as we know imu. Locals preparing lu or laulau. Nobody works on Sunday's.
We traded a fish for a pig, not a bad deal.
Our local crew Witney climbed up a coconut tree to grab coconuts for us.
Sean also went up to help but...
Went up the wrong tree.
Umu all set in place. Cooking our tapioca and lu.
Roasted pig almost ready!

Here she goes!
Her 14-year old sister mofaata's birthday was today. She's the second girl on left.

Spearfishing Tonga team

Our team here is amazing! We got the best guides who put us on the fish.
Legendary Rob Torelli has been doing a great job making sure we are all safe.
Vaia our local Tongan crew is only 17 years and diving 100 ft shooting big black uluas.
Nick got a nice coral trout on the reef.
Sean got his nice doggie in the deep.

And another colorful sunset to end our day.

Wahoo Wednesday

Sean Masaki has been dialing in his blue water gun during this trip. Luckily we got James Oshiro here to help out.
The children here have chores to do and one is to crack nuts with a rock.
They have fun outdoors playing with their friends and nature instead of computers or ds games.
This is the harbor we start our day at just 5 minutes from our resort.
Lots of guns to use.
And lots of big fish! Wahoo!
Good job boys!
