Sushi Honeymoon Party

Been a while since we heard of any action out fishing so we headed out early for a quick half day run to try catch fish for a special occasion.
Wendell Ko met me out there and saw a few other Ahi Feevah addicts in remission
Al spotted a few high fliers after a night of no sleep again. But his power nap would not last long. We spot a big splash and head toward it and bam!
Clear lines and game is on! The excitement at this moment is awesome!
The fish is hooked good so Al snd I work it in 15 minutes and game is over.
Head back to the barn and call it a early day to attend my friends Travis and Noe's wedding.
Thank God for blessing us with another beautiful fish for my family and friends.
Congratulations to Trav and Noe! Time to celebrate your new life together as one! Sushi honeymoon party tonight!

What's in the box?

What a day! Stay tuned for today's Red Sea Ocean Adventure after I get some zzz.

Fish Safe

Grabbed some Life jackets at west marine for my crew. Fish safe!

Joy of surfing

Took the boys surfing today, Maika was up first. A little nervous but joy would soon come.
The perfect wave came and it was on!
Superman Maika ready to stand!
Kai was up next and he learned to cup his hands and paddle hard.
A set came and Kai got the ride of his life.
The joy of surfing! Who needs to play Pokemon go when you get to experience a day like this?

Red Sea Safety Belt

Check out my new Red Sea safety belt. Compact essentials wrapped around your waist whether you are fishing or trekking alone or with a friend.
After seeing those three experienced fisherman lost at sea I was motivated to make this because it can happen to anyone.
Essential include:
1. Water
2. Epirb beacon
3. Rescue streamer
4. Glow sticks (red color best)
5. Emergency blanket
6. Knife
7. Clif bars
8. Whistle
9. Hook/line/lures
10. Lures

If you have a compact life jacket that will also provide you the peace of mind that you are prepared if you are ever lost at sea! Be safe out there!

3 blind mice

Dinner time with our pet mice. Hand feeding them makes them more friendly. They love cheese, rice and veggies.

PT day one

Today went for physical therapy treatment for my neck. Pt was good and explained in detail what he thought.
What a view overlooking kaneohe bay. Got some test, stretches and massage.
I keep telling them the symptoms should subside in a month once ahi season is over. Ha ha!

Fishing for all ages

Woke up at 230 to get the Red Sea boat ready for the boys day fishing, took the bean bag and that was it! They did not move.
Seas were a bit rocky for them so decided to cut the trip short.
Spotted a beautiful boat probably here for rim pac.
Went back in switch crew for the senior fisherman.
Crow on board giving orders to my uncle Walter who is in his 80's and both cannot hear what the other is saying.
Walter got to see marlin slam my corner before ripping off the hook.
3 pm crow was ready for his nap.
Bite was slow so called it a day. Fun day on the water with my family.
