WNW swell arrived today so headed up north shore to grab a few before the rain. Now the winds are onshore, rain and thunder moved in. Can see it on the radar.

NZ Butterfish
Final day of diving in New Zealand. Target is butterfish. This is one of the best tasting fish here.
Kekoa got some nice ones. Not the smartest fish but definitely delicious.
Then we got some fresh lamb shanks and medallions from Rhonda and Charlies farm. Salted with red sea salt and added some rosemary before putting on the grill.
Ate a nice breakfast at My fat Pukus.
And saw some cool looking architecture. Time to pack up and head to our next destination.

Got Mussels
One of the target species on this trip was mussels. Today the boys harvested some of the best mussels in the world.
Some are 4-5 inches long and super tasty. Nothing like the ones we get frozen in the supermarkets.
Everyday pupu hour is the best.
Took a tour also since some rain/wind were moving in.

Real Age
Small windy surf so best way to keep active is to cross train. Some light weights, balls to help keep the balance and body in shape.
Went to get my annual check up and my doctors said to take a online survey. Survey said my real age is 45 years old. It would be interesting to see what our uncle Jo's real age is if he is at 102 years old. Main thing is to stay healthy, eat good food and enjoy your life with your family and friends! Life is short and everyone is dealt a hand to play. Do your best and commit the rest!
