Perfect timing
Another picture perfect day in Hawaii. We are so blessed to live work and play here.
Jon kam said he would take first watch but didn't say he would do second, third and fourth watch too? There were few birds today but trusted things would get better. It's all about being in the right place at the right time.
Then in the blind we get a screamer! Get the fish in the boat and high fives all around.
We open up the stomach and find this baby fish inside. I think it's a baby Ono.
Reset our lines and find a bird pile then bam!
Number two in the boat. Jon gels up his hair while I snap a few pictures.
Al was ready for pupus and beers while we took a few keepsakes. Mahalo to our land and sea crew for all their support!

Flemish caps
Eagle eye Brent Ching took first watch looking for high flyers.
Lighting and thunder all around us so pointed my boat toward the Flemish caps. No Cat naps for Cathy today. Got to the grounds and set two lines out then BAM! We couldn't believe it! 20 minutes later...
We get one in the boat!
Head in to see amazing waterfalls.
Snap a few photos and call it a day!
Perfect Storm
Lightning thunder rain and choppy seas! Feels like the movie "perfect storm". Heading to the Flemish caps in search of gold!

Brent's Ahi
Another day on the job searching for the pot of gold. Maybe we will find something at the end of the rainbow?
I really wanted Brent to get his first Ahi for 2017, so we headed out along with Al.
Al took first watch and bam we hookup!
We gettum to the boat in 20 minutes and game over.
Such a grateful feeling to have a nice ahi on the boat.
Brent wanted to chill out with his first Ahi.
Mahalos to our land crew for all their help! Teamwork in and out of the water is key!
