Aloha Monday

Aloha mondays are awesome! Nice day to hit the surf! New swell bigger than expected.

Even got Monday special garlic chicken after surf too. Mahalo wade and Jon.

Banana surf

North swell dropping but still few solid waves out there. Mahalos @tokorosurfboards for the bananas!

North West

Started the day up north with solid swell.got a few then headed west.

Did some filming for another hsdtv episode. Light winds coming soon.

Friends

Another nice Hawaiian day! Grabbed a few waves up north and passed my favorite landmark.

Had a nice lunch with old and new friends, Derrick, Kurt and Sheryl. Not often I have to wear collar shirt. Ha ha!

Today's call is north shore! Waxed up my 5'10" Tokoro special and grabbed a few fun waves. Go get barreled!

We been learning each time how to catch akule.

Afternoon surf sesh with boys. They getting better each time.

Cold front

Cold front arrived on schedule with light rain.

Today's weapon of choice, 6'4" with epicsurf again.

Been awhile since I went diving. This was a shot in Greece.

Surf bug

Downloaded my go pro footage and got some good shots. Maika was on the board with the camera so it was his day to get the shots. Next time Kai will get some. But both got their best waves to date.

Maika was charging and wanted to catch every wave that came in. He kept asking this one uncle, can I go? Boys got the surf bug now so stoked for them.

Surf lesson

Grabbed a few waves at dawn with @tokorosurfboards then met up with nephews for their surf lesson. They met grand champion Reo Inaba.

And Vesso shaper Gen Asano. This is how you get good in surfing. That's today's surf lesson.

Sash time

Variety pack sashimi poke plate. Breakfast lunch and dinner!
