Winds backed off so headed out on the Red Sea boat for more action.

Al "no sleep" Ah Nee joined me and took the high flyer bird watch position.

Grey skies with bumpy seas today but rumors were fish was biting so loaded up and joined the circus of hungry fisherman.

Al had zero sleep last night so told him to nap since no birds were around. Then in the blind it happened! 

Outriggers slammed down and we hooked up. 130 reels almost spooled and lines crossed we managed to land two nice ahis.

Al gill and gutted the fish and got it on brine.

Took a few pics and put these babies on ice for a day.

Dreaming of catching more ahis as the season is here! Thanks to the Red Sea crew for all your help. We were truly blessed today!

Fun Fishing Day!

Pier was empty past week probably because bite was slow and rough weather, but we really wanted some sashimi.

Checked with my crew and they were game to go. 

Al had one hour of sleep after coming straight from work.

James was feeling sick but stuck it out.

Got one fatty Ono which weighed in 46 lbs.

And a bunch of Akus for our family and friends. Thanks guys for a fun day of fishing and all your hard work.

Another picture perfect day in Hawaii. Surf dropping but a few sneaker sets came thru. Saw this young kid learning to fish. Cool!

Stopped to grab some skirts to dress the girls up for next weeks troll, seen Captain Ko already stocking up on his as well. No more skirts on the shelf? Lol.

Back home just in time for south swell #2. Little windy and some overhead waves today.  Perfect timing!

Onos and Hot Dogs

Free day to dive, relax and eat hot dogs.

Today wahoos were in town so boys shot their first Onos!

Fresh Ono sashimi then off to experience Mexico's hot dog tour.

We drive thru town looking for homes with lights on.

Order various levels of hot dogs.

Then we eat eat and eat. Well this concludes our tour now time to go sleep.
