Last month I was pulling a total of seven lures in the purple 81 degree water off Japan's Mie Coast...We caught 9 Mahi, and 4 aku...and 12 of the fish came off a single lure....yep, a Gaji Abalone head. What is also interesting was the Gaji that caught the aku (and mahi!) was considered "too big" for the aku, by both captains on board. Live and learn...the ocean is both deep in beauty,and mystery.
