Secret to Life!

Rough start to 2020 with all kinds of broken equipment from our computer for editing, printer/copier, boat chart plotter, outrigger, binoculars, car repairs you name it!  That's life!  Do your best and commit the rest is how we roll..

Speaking of rolling, how'are these new blades from Tokoro surfboards?  We are stoked and thankful to have such great friends who are like our family at Tokoro Surfboards!  Wade, Kerry, Yukiko and Gen do amazing work and is such a great team.  We are blessed!

2020 Marlin

Our family enjoyed the new year's eve eating some of this hamachi.  

Next morning heading out to look for some tails.  We found this one and bunch of Otarus.

All lit up and electrifying!  just had to take a picture.

Thanks to Al and Cat we going get to smoke some, sash some, sear some of this marlin.  Well looks like a great week to get some household chores done and errands and its going to be a windy and small wave week ahead.  Happy New Year everyone!

Last week of 2019

Lotsa rain and wind the other day in kaneohe,  but nice water falls on the koolaus.

Went out for a quick run to find some red meat for the new year.  Got lucky!  Thankful to find some otaru for my family and friends.

And ended the year with a birthday celebration with Uncle Joe Todoroki.  Happy 104th Birthday Uncle Joe!

This year is flying by so fast!  It was a good year of fishing for these two.  Just in time for Christmas!

A great year for this young man Italo Ferreira.  Congrats on the world title.  You worked hard and deserve it!

And my friend who just turned 40.  Happy birthday Keaka!  Life is good! Well time to get ready for the new year!  Happy Holidays everyone!

Winter Waves Mahi

Winter in full swing!  Pipe masters on this week as we expect some big waves to come.  I think I counted at least 12 swells already.

Mahi's on the menu also this week!  I saw a window before the big waves came so we did a quick run out and in with enough fish for family and friends!

But first had to sample to make sure it was ono!

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!  We have so much to be thankful for this year.  Our family, friends and fellow brothers and sisters who have been by our side through thick and thin.  Weather the seas are calm or rough in our lives we have been blessed with good people.

There is no place like home!  We set out for some last minute shopping and got lucky with this beautiful sunrise.  Red Sea!

And load of mahi mahi for our big party!  Have a great turkey day!

UH Football

First UH bows game for me all season.  Got to watch it with our family and Akule Joe.  Mean kine grinds!

Akule Joe going to eat this lobster one day soon!  Stoked UH won their game, it was a close one and down to the wire.  Holidays are upon us already, time to go fishing soon to get sashimi.
