The calm before the storm

Small surf up north but rideable. Weekend warriors out in full force so gonna wait for next swells. More XXL swells coming! 

Wind and rain for tonight and tomorrow am as cold front passes thru the islands.

Mice training day

Started working with these mice on the wheel having them run for 10 minutes per day. They were afraid at first but you never know until you go right? Just say cheese!

So now both of them started training together on the wheel pushing each other harder and faster until one gives up.

Now they are ready to get barreled! Small surf today so good day to get things done. Winds light today  turning north with lots of wind for superbowl Sunday.

Learning the spot

This year I've been surfing a few spots up north just to improve my wave knowledge. There is no better way to learn than putting your time in the water with good friends in the lineup. Thanks Wade, Timmy, Cade, Ed for another fun session. Surf dropping but more giant swells in store for next week.

Baby Mouse in the House

Been training my nephews mice. Gottum to climb on my hands and feel comfortable. Next teach um how to surf? We noticed the other mouse looking fat and eating a lot. Two days ago she gave birth. I found the babies today. Infant photos to come later.

Crazy Fisherman!

Pulled up to the pier and nobody out there except tourist going to the sandbar. 

And us crazy guys! High surf advisory and small craft warning kept all the fisherman away.

Red Sea crew Al and James would go! Al  reeling up the fish while James looking for the birds.

Al made his famous sandwich! Thanks Al for a fabulous lunch.

Got lucky with shibis, Aku and mahi. Good action! Half day we were ready to head in.
