Catching the train in Japan is the way to go!

And scenery like the Otaru canal.

And ending our day eating ghengis khan (lamb) hit the spot. Thank you to our guide Mayu for showing us around. 

We all enjoyed the treats from Mayu.

The Search

Time to travel...so long Hawaii 

In search of the legendary bluefin fisherman in Japan.

This is passing through Sendai.  We will never forget march 11th.

South Swell #2

Past 3 days have been fun surfing on our south shores of Oahu.  The long period swell with variable winds provided great waves for everyone.  Timing the offshore opportunities with barrels and long rides by avoiding the mid day seabreezes and crowds has been key.  Waves should be slowly diminishing the next few days so time to start packing for our next Red Sea Ocean Adventure!

Surfing Pigs

Went to check the surf and saw couple pet pigs on the beach.  I think this is the surfing pigs.

Ahi withdrawals

Missing eating fresh ahi. Spicy tuna, ahi seared...

Mixed Bag Catch

Let out the lines first and hooked up to this hungry booby bird.

Al ah née reeled it in to save his life and he bit als finger in return.

Kekoa Mau got this nice white ulua which put up a good fight.

And we got a fish eye mu as well.

Not bad for a weekday dive.

Fresh sashimi to end our day! Thanks to the Red Sea Crew for all their help today.
